Land of Gloom

Jingle of life, vanished and forsaken
Eco and glow, frayed and taken.

Song of love, died in pain
Birds that hum, gone in vain

Trees with shadows, lost their pride
Flowers in meadows, broken and dried

Bees in hustle, toasted in hatred
Honey that’s golden, perished and faded

Wind that blows, changed its direction
Water that flows, starved of attention

Sun with reflection, has no blaze
Moon with magic, ended its craze

Bones and graves, stacked in piles
Land of gloom, bears no smiles.
